Most of the daily ‘smiles’ consist of people jokes, or a humorous incident about a person. The “story” may be a devotional comment and/or some personal trivia or experience about the author. The “scripture” and the “saying” usually complement the “story.”
Since many jokes have reoccurring themes, the devotional and trivia comments are repeated throughout the book, including a salvation emphasis on several days.
